Terms and conditions of use of Double Fond TV


 
Double Fond TV offers a personalized subscription service allowing our users to access magic videos ("Double Fond TV content") streamed over the Internet, computers and other connected devices.
 
These Terms of Use govern your use of our service. As used herein, the terms "Double Fond TV service", "our service" or "the service" refer to the personalized service provided by Double Fond TV to search and watch Double Fond TV content, including all features, recommendations and reviews, the website and user interfaces, and all content and software associated with our service.
 
  1. Subscription
 
1.1. Your subscription to Double Fond TV continues until it is terminated. To use the Double Fond TV service, you must have access to the Internet, and you must provide us with one or more means of payment. A "means of payment" means a current, valid, accepted means of payment, which may be updated from time to time and may include payment through your account with a third party. Unless you terminate your subscription prior to your billing date, you authorize us to bill you for the next billing cycle through your payment method (see "Termination" below).
 
1.2 We may offer different subscription packages, including special promotional packages or subscriptions offered by third parties in connection with the provision of their own products and services. Some subscription packages may have different terms, conditions and restrictions, which you will be informed of when you register or in other communications made available to you. You will find specific details of your Double Fond TV subscription by visiting our website and clicking on the "My Subscription" link available at the top of the Double Fond TV website pages, next to your avatar.
 
1.3 Free Trial. When you subscribe to Double Fond TV, you can take advantage of a free trial. The free trial offer is not guaranteed and, if available, will only be available to persons who have not previously received a free trial of the Double Fond TV platform. Your first payment will be taken in the payment method you have chosen immediately after the free trial, unless you cancel your subscription in accordance with the cancellation instructions provided. You may also terminate your subscription at any time before the end of the free trial. The terms of the free trial will be communicated to you at the time of your subscription to Double Fond TV.
 
  1. Billing and Cancellation
 
2.1 Billing cycle. Subscription fees for the Double Fond TV service will be billed via your payment method on the specific billing date indicated on your "My Subscription" page. The length of your billing cycle will depend on the type of subscription you choose when you sign up for the Service. In some cases, your billing date may change, for example, if your payment method did not work or if your paid subscription started on a day that is not in a given month. Please go to our website and click on the "Billing Details" link on the "Account" page for your next billing date.
 
2.2. Means of payment. To use the Double Fond TV service, you must provide us with one or more means of payment. You authorize us to debit your account via any payment method associated with your account in the event that your primary payment method is declined or is no longer available to us for the payment of your subscription fees. You are liable for any amount not debited. If a payment fails to clear due to card expiration, insufficient balance, or for any other reason, and you do not terminate your account, we may suspend your access to our service until we have successfully withdrawn your account via a valid payment method. For some payment methods, the Provider may charge you certain fees, such as international transaction fees or other charges related to the processing of your payment method. Local tax charges may vary depending on the payment method used. Please contact the Provider of your payment method for more information.
 
2.3 Updating your payment methods. You may update your payment methods by going to the "My Subscription" page. We may also update your payment methods with information provided by payment service providers. After any update, you authorize us to continue to debit your account via the relevant payment method(s).
 
2.4. Termination. You may terminate your Double Fond TV subscription at any time and you will continue to have access to the Service until the end of your billing period. Payments are non-refundable and we do not provide any refunds or credits for periods of partial use, or for any unattended Double Fond TV content. To cancel your subscription, go to the "My Subscription" page and follow the instructions. If you cancel your subscription, your account will be automatically closed at the end of your current billing period. To find out when your account will be closed, please click on "My Subscription". If you registered for Double Fond TV using an account you have with a third party as a payment method and you wish to terminate your Double Fond TV subscription, you may need to do so with the third party, for example by logging into your account with the third party and deactivating automatic renewal or by unsubscribing from Double Fond TV service through the third party. You may also view billing information regarding your Double Fond TV subscription by viewing your account with the third party.
 
2.5. Price and Subscription Changes. We may change our Subscriptions and the price of our Service from time to time. However, any changes in pricing or your Subscriptions you will be notified from us, 30 days in advance of price changes.
 
  1. Double Fond TV Service
 
3.1. You must be 18 years of age, or have reached the legal age of majority in your province, territory or country, to subscribe to the Double Fond TV service. Minors may use the service only under the supervision of an adult.
 
3.2. The Double Fond TV service, as well as any content viewed via the service, is for personal, non-commercial use only and may not be shared with anyone outside your household. During the term of your subscription, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to access the Double Fond TV Service and to watch Double Fond TV Content. Except as set forth above, no right, title or interest is granted to you. You agree not to use the service for public screenings.
 
3.3. You may only watch Double Fond TV Content in countries where we offer our service and where we hold the relevant licenses. The content available may vary depending on the geographical area and may be modified at any time. The number of devices on which you can simultaneously watch content depends on the type of subscription you have chosen and is specified on the "Account" page.
 
3.4. The Double Fond TV service, including the Library content, is updated regularly. We also regularly test various aspects of our service, including our website, user interfaces, promotional offers and the availability of Double Fond TV content.
 
3.5. You agree not to archive, reproduce, distribute, modify, display, perform, perform, publish, license, create derivative works from, sell or use (except as expressly authorized in these Terms of Use) the content and information of (or obtained through) the Double Fond TV service. You also agree not to : circumvent, remove, modify, disable, destroy or defeat the protections of the content within the Double Fond TV service; use robots, spiders, web harvesting tools or other automated methods to access the Double Fond TV service; decompile, reverse engineer or disassemble any software, products or processes accessible via the Double Fond TV service; insert any code or product, or manipulate the content of the Double Fond TV service in any way; or use any data mining, collection or extraction method. Likewise, you agree not to upload, post, e-mail or otherwise send or transmit any content with the purpose of interrupting, destroying or restricting the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment associated with the Double Fond TV service, including any virus or any other computer code, file or program. We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your use of our service if you violate these Terms of Use or make any illegal or illegitimate use of the service.You are authorized to perform the magic tricks presented except in content broadcast on television. All the tricks described are works protected by copyright. All rights of commercialization or televisual representation are reserved to the authors.

We will not be able to help you if you are using older versions of these operating systems. The connection fees for the Internet are your responsibility. Please contact your Internet Service Provider for more information on any charges for using Internet data. The amount of time it takes to watch Double Fond TV content varies depending on several factors, including your location, the bandwidth available at the time, the title you are watching, the content you are watching and the configuration of your Double Fond TV-enabled device.
 
  1. Passwords and account access.
 
The user who created the Double Fond TV account and who is charged a subscription fee via the chosen payment method (the "Account Holder") has access to and control over the Double Fond TV account and the Double Fond TV compatible devices used to access our Service. This user is responsible for any activity that occurs via his Double Fond TV account. In order to maintain control of the account and to prevent anyone from accessing it (including access to information about the account's playback history), the Account Holder must maintain control of the Double Fond TV compatible devices used to access the service and must not disclose to anyone his or her password or the details of the payment method associated with the account. You are responsible for updating and maintaining accurate information about your Account. We may terminate or suspend your account in order to protect you and Double Fond TV or its partners from identity theft or other fraudulent activity.
 
  1. Miscellaneous
 
5.1. Unsolicited content. Double Fond TV does not accept any unsolicited content or ideas regarding Double Fond TV content, and is not responsible for any similarities between its content or programming and the content or ideas transmitted to it.
 
5.2. Customer support. For more information about our service and its features or if you need help using your account, please visit the Double Fond TV Help Center available on our website. In some cases, Customer Support may assist you by using a remote access and help tool through which we will have full control of your computer. If you do not wish to give us this access, you must decline assistance through the remote access tool and we will then assist you by other means.
 
5.3. Nullity - Disability. If one or more provisions of these Terms of Use should be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
 
5.4. Modification of the Terms of Use. Double Fond TV may, from time to time, modify these Terms of Use. We will notify you at least 30 days before such changes become applicable.
 
5.5. Electronic Communications. We will send you account information (for example, payment authorizations, invoices, password or payment method changes, confirmation messages, notifications) only electronically, for example by sending an e-mail to the e-mail address you provided us when you registered.
