Here's Beatles Nervous Breakdown live excerpt from a show by Dominique Duvivier played at Double Fond. The perfect mental and small packet trick! Dominique presents a small package, in which there is a card with one of the four Beatles on one side and the four kings on the other. He then asks the spectator to think of one of the four kings. Freely, without forcing of any kind, the chosen king will be the ONLY king face up among the cards face down. Then he shows the other cards that are supposed to be the other kings, but not at all: they are the other three Beatles! The effect is devastating!  

The deck is shuffled by one spectator and one card is chosen by another. When this spectator shuffles again to lose his card, it is clear that a mysterious card is between two red kings! And then you will think: "No! It's not possible! ». Well, "Yes it is!". It is indeed the chosen card: it is no longer in the deck! Dominique Duvivier shares here with you a particularly baffling technique of his own. Even when we see the explanation, we remain amazed!  

Pairs of cards are assembled according to the instructions of different members of the audience. The audience's options and choices are completely free. Despite these crazy conditions, the two cards making up each pair turn out to be identical! The trick was shot live at the Double Fond.  

"Against adversity, see you every day at 10am for a little well-deserved escape! ". This is what Alexandra and Dominique announced as soon as the lockdown was put in place in March 2020: for almost 100 days, daily videos were published. "Their goal was not to lose contact with the viewer, to communicate. " one could read in "Le Figaro" (newspaper in France). Alexandra confided, "As artists, we almost have a duty to show that we are always on deck. "  

As the title suggests, a good presentation of this trick will allow you to create a standing ovation without difficulty. All the audience has to do is follow your instructions!

You show the first portrait facing the front and ask the audience in the center to clap. Then you show a second portrait looking to the left and ask this part of the audience to clap in turn. Finally you show a last portrait looking to the right and have the last third of the audience clap. Then you start to play with the audience, showing the different portraits quickly and alternately. Guaranteed impact!

Finally you decide which portrait and therefore which part of the room you prefer... But, just before showing it, you say: "If the portrait looks at you, clap and stand up! ".

This is the final twist: you show the portrait, and, as if by magic, EVERYONE stands up and claps!!!

This trick is absolutely brilliant for creating a fiery atmosphere in the room. Ideal for all your parlour and stage performances.  

Basic Technique: You ask the spectator to choose a card, but you oblige them to pick the one already pre-selected by you. The Cross Cut Force is one of the easiest forcing methods; it does not require any manipulation.
