The magician shows two blank cards, on which are handwritten the names of two cards: 5 of Diamonds and 6 of Clubs; this constitutes a kind of "Open Prediction" with two cards. One card from the deck is chosen by the spectator. It's face down, and nobody knows it yet. The magician gives himself 4 possibilities of having predicted the chosen card with his two prediction cards: it could therefore be a 5 or a 6 for value, and Diamonds or Clubs for suit. The chosen card is turned over: nothing to see, since it's the 4 of Hearts! The magician is dismayed, and turns over the two written cards on the table: they are both 4 de Hearts! A card is freely chosen and lost in the deck. The cards are shuffled; the magician spells out the name of the chosen card, placing one card per letter, and on the last letter, the card is turned over... it is the chosen card! After thoroughly shuffling your deck of cards, you announce that you have memorized the position of the red and black cards; but in demonstrating this, you fail miserably! The magician displays two decks of cards: the blue deck is a prediction deck, while the red deck allows two spectators to decide on a card: one determines the suit, the other the value. The magician places a small cloth purse on the table: this is his prediction. He asks a spectator to recall a trip she has taken in the past, and to choose one of the countries she visited. The purse is then opened; and it contains a coin from that country!
