The magician borrows the spectator's handkerchief. He displays a safety pin, which is handed out for examination, and pins it to the handkerchief. The pin magically moves from one part of the cloth to another, creating an amazing effect. A second method allows you to mysteriously release the safety pin from the handkerchief. A classic piece of card magic. The four Aces are set aside. One card is freely chosen, and lost in the deck. One of the Aces mysteriously turns up face-down among the other face-up cards: it's the Ace of the suit of the chosen card! The spectator chooses a card that no one, not even himself, looks at; this card is set aside. The spectator now cuts the deck wherever he wishes, and three piles of cards are formed from the cut half. The top card of each pile is shown; these are any three indifferent cards. These cards should give some indication of the spectator's card... but they don't!
