This trick was first published in the book "Cartomagie Année 2001" by Dominique Duvivier in 1974. A card is freely thought in a group of cards. The deck is shuffled. The magician asks for the name of the card, and spells it out, putting one card per letter... the chosen card happens to be the one with the last letter! A real miracle!

Active thought is when the spectator thinks about the card he has chosen; when he stops thinking about it, it disappears... and reappears when he thinks about it again! To buy an ordinary deck of cards click here.

Another visual curiosity, designed by Dominique Duvivier in 2003 based on an effect by Edward Marlo. The magician cuts the deck into four piles, and the four Aces that have been previously set aside are clearly put down on top of each pile. The piles are stacked on top of each other to reform the deck... and the four aces rise to the top! To buy: - some regular cards click here. - an ordinary deck of cards click here.

A visual curiosity of the finest effect. Two cards are shown, one red-backed, the other blue-backed; one is the Jack of Diamonds, the other the 3 of Spades. These two cards are duplicated... and transformed: they are now the four Aces, which are handed out for examination! To buy: - some regular cards with red back click here. - some regular cards with blue back click here. - one double-faced card click here.

Like a human quick change artist, a playing card (for example, the 10 of Hearts) changes its identity several times, and in the end multiplies and we now find ourselves with the four 10! This trick was created in 1998.

A different handling of "Clean Assembly", already described on this platform. A very clean Ace Assembly routine. The four Aces are laid out on the table in a row, with three indifferent cards placed on top of each Ace. The first three Aces disappear from their respective packets and collect in the last packet. Neat and tidy! To buy a “Regular Bicycle Rider Deck” click here.

The magician shows two cards: one red backed Ace of Spades, and one blue backed Queen of Hearts. The cards will magically travel and transform, the backs will change color. A maximum of effects with a minimum of cards! To buy a “Single Regular Card” click on the following link: https://mayette.com/en/cartes/1614-unite-normal-rouge

Renelys was Dominique Duvivier's first mentor when he was very young. He used to do a two card transposition and to do so, he used a stripper deck. Dominique explains two ways to do this effect, but with regular cards. To buy a “Regular Bicycle Rider Deck” click here.

The magician shows four 5 of Hearts with "Golden Nugget" backs. A fifth 5 of Hearts appears, but it is a red-backed "Jerry's Nugget" card. We end up with one Jerry's Nugget card, and five Golden Nugget cards! In the end, we show that the "Jerry's Nugget" 5 of Hearts is indeed an odd card, since the other cards are now "Golden Nugget" on both sides, as they have turned into jokers!

A Chinese coin appears and disappears several times, thanks to a small magic silk, which gives it a kind of power of invisibility! To buy the “HMC” trick, click here.

A card is chosen, and lost in the deck. The magician picks up two random cards, and puts them down one by one aside on the table. When he shows these two cards again, we see that they are now three: the two random cards have turned into the King of Hearts and the King of Diamonds, and in between these two kings, there is now the chosen card! Success guaranteed!

You count ten cards one by one by throwing them loosely onto the table to your left. You repeat the action, this time to your right. Miracle! Two cards are magically and invisibly teleported from one packet to the other! The "teleportation" is absolutely clean! Success guaranteed! To buy a “Regular Bicycle Rider Deck” click here.

A card is chosen, and lost in the deck. Any two cards are placed face down on the table; the deck is set aside. The two cards turn magically into two red kings, and a card appears audibly face down in between the two face up kings; this sandwiched card is shown: it is of course the chosen card!

An easy, but devilishly effective demonstration of Poker cheating! A Poker hand is set aside BEFORE starting, this is the magician's hand. THEN the four aces are spread among the other cards, and then four other poker hands are dealt. The magician shows that he has the winning hand, because it is made up of... the four Aces, which in principle is impossible!
