Ariel Frailich

Ariel Frailich

Ariel Frailich is a Canadian magician, born in 1956.

He became interested in magic at the age of 10, thanks to a book of card tricks written by The Great Merlini.

Shortly thereafter, he discovered Klingsor's Magic Shop in Brussels, where he was living at the time. It was there that he learned a lot and met many magicians.

In 1973, his meeting with Frank Garcia transformed his vision of magic. It was then that he focused on card magic and close-up magic.

He then returned to Canada, where he performed and lectured at magic clubs and magic conventions.

After studying Eugene Burger's magic, he began to look at magic from a different perspective. His main interests became presentation and creativity.

He founded “I Saw That!” and became a publisher, author, and dealer in books and magic tricks.

Ariel Frailich has built a reputation for, among other things, his world-class invisible pass. At the 1979 FFFF convention (Fechter's Finger Flicking Frolic), Howard Schwarzman asked him to show it to Eddie Fechter, who, after seeing it, said, “I can name about five people who can do that, and after that, I have to think.”
