
Jean Régil
Jean Régil is a renowned French professional magician. His real name is Jean Ehlinger, and he was born in 1943. He became interested in magic at an early age, when he was 5/6 years old!
He began by reading magic books, and although he didn't really have a mentor, his role models were Renélys, Kalanag, Kassagi, Joë Waldys, Doug Hennings... After working as a salesman in a magic store in Lyon, he gradually honed his skills working in restaurants, volunteer shows, etc., until he finally became a star of stage magic in France, opening for the star singers of the 1970-1980s: Herbert Léonard, Charlots, Claude François, Adamo, or Hervé Villard... Not an inventor per se, he has adapted and modernized hundreds of tricks and performed thousands.
