Ray Kosby

Ray Kosby is an American magician who specializes in close-up magic. 

He has been practicing magic as a passion for several decades. 

He is particularly well-known in the magic community for his technical creativity and his routines involving cards, coins, and everyday objects. 

He is one of the most creative close-up magicians you’ll ever see. 

He devises highly original, highly visual, and often offbeat effects, and his methods are just as ingenious and outlandish. 

The difficulty level ranges from the simplest to “Are you kidding?”… the audience is left speechless by his effects: when they aren’t speechless, all they can say is “Wow!” 

Several of his routines have become modern classics, particularly his version of “The Ambitious Card,” which is unique (and he is the only one capable of performing it!): the card VISIBLY rises, step by step, to the top of the (ordinary) deck, which is held in just one hand! 

Ray has lectured in Great Britain, France, Japan, Scotland, Portugal, Spain, Israel, and the United States. 

His work has been published in the form of DVDs, books, and magazine articles.
