A variation of "The 3 bets, based on Bob Farmer" already broadcast on our streaming platform. A Tsunami of madness. A card is chosen under completely impossible conditions. And yet, the magician finds the card with 100% success. Success guaranteed!  

I have been looking for a long time for a method to achieve this atypical effect. A card is freely chosen, put back into the deck. The deck is put on the strings of the racket. The whole thing is covered with a transparent cover. We "sift"...and the cards seem to all, progressively go through the string mesh... all except one, and it is the right one! A trick highly regarded by "The Jerx", the king of underground magic.  

Card Technique: You ask the spectator to choose a card, but you force him, without him realizing it, to choose the one you want. This method is simple, but extremely effective; it requires no sleight of hand.  

The magician shows four 10s of Clubs on one side, and four Queens of Clubs on the other. He exchanges a single card from each packet, and the others mysteriously follow. He performs the effect a second time, and as a climax, he shows that he now has a four of a kind in 10s on one side (Spades, Hearts, Clubs and Diamonds), and a four of a kind in Queens on the other side! Everything is handed out for examination.  

A card is freely chosen by a spectator; it splits into two, then into three, and finally we obtain a four of a kind in Aces... which instantly melts together into a single card, the one chosen by the spectator at the beginning! The four Aces are now face up in the middle of the face down deck! A wonderful and unexpected effect! This trick is a variation of "Toulagli", already described previously on this streaming platform.  

A stage trick adapted to be performed in close-up. The spectator makes a small tambourine by closing the two ends of a small tube with tissue paper and two small rings. The magician then makes some coins appear inside the mini tambourine! Simple, but devilishly effective!  

The magician holds in his hands a small packet made up only of picture cards: kings, queens and jacks. He displays them very clearly two by two, the pairs of cards are put together completely randomly, and are placed one on top of the other on the table; no suspicious gestures are made. The spectator squares the packet, and spreads it face up on the table. The mates are now together: the black kings are together, as well as the red jacks, etc…  

The four Kings are taken out of the deck and handed out for examination, then placed aside. Three cards are freely selected, signed, and placed on top of the four Kings. A magic move toward the small packet... and the seven cards are only four: these are the four gluttonous cards that have made a feast of the three chosen cards! In the end, the four cards are now only three: the chosen cards; the four Kings are face up in the middle of the deck! Success guaranteed!  

The magician places in a row on the table the Ace of Spades, followed by the 2, 3 and 4 of the same suit. Three red cards are shown, and placed on top of the Ace of Spades; the latter mysteriously rises to the top of the packet, as if it used a magic elevator! The effect is repeated with the 2, then the 3 of Spades. But the 4 doesn't want to go up? In fact, it is his companions who have joined him: instead of the 4 of Spades and three red cards, the packet is now made up of the four Spades!  

Card technique: This technique looks like you've cut the deck when you've just transferred a card into the middle. This video complements another one previously published on this platform.  

It's one of my signature tricks, ever since its creation. After I performed it in a lecture for Michael Close when it was first created, he said to me: "When I saw the trick, I thought either this is going to be a big mistake at the end, or I'm going to get a big headache!” And he kindly admitted to me that he got a big headache... One of those tricks where the explanation is almost more beautiful than the effect... 5 minutes of happiness, where everything or almost everything is self-working, with a huge amount of public participation. Really a killer.

The four Kings are "gluttonous cards" that will "absorb" three freely chosen and signed cards. These will then be regurgitated, and the four Kings will be reunited. This version is different from the one already described on this platform ("The Gluttonous Cards 1997").
