Story:
The two red Kings are set aside. A spectator shuffles the deck. The two Kings merge—there is now only one card, even though this card “contains both Kings”! A card is freely chosen and lost in the deck. The single King splits in two, and the chosen card mysteriously appears, sandwiched between the two Kings! Everything is handed out for examination!
