Dominique Duvivier's presentation of the famous Puzzle trick, in which a piece is added several times, and the puzzle is always the same size each time. In this version, the puzzle is placed in a template which proves that the dimensions have remained the same. And everything is handed out for examination at the end!

A first coin travels invisibly into his hand, then all the coins go through the table together. Any four cards are set aside, then a card is chosen from the deck. And then the madness begins! The random cards all turn into the chosen card! Then suddenly they become Aces! But that's not all: things get really complicated with the magician's pockets. A very subtle routine with many twists and turns. For those who like technique, it's pure happiness!  

The magician shows four 10s of Clubs on one side, and four Queens of Clubs on the other. He exchanges a single card from each packet, and the others mysteriously follow. He performs the effect a second time, and as a climax, he shows that he now has a four of a kind in 10s on one side (Spades, Hearts, Clubs and Diamonds), and a four of a kind in Queens on the other side! Everything is handed out for examination.  

A card is freely chosen by a spectator; it splits into two, then into three, and finally we obtain a four of a kind in Aces... which instantly melts together into a single card, the one chosen by the spectator at the beginning! The four Aces are now face up in the middle of the face down deck! A wonderful and unexpected effect! This trick is a variation of "Toulagli", already described previously on this streaming platform.  

The magician holds in his hands a small packet made up only of picture cards: kings, queens and jacks. He displays them very clearly two by two, the pairs of cards are put together completely randomly, and are placed one on top of the other on the table; no suspicious gestures are made. The spectator squares the packet, and spreads it face up on the table. The mates are now together: the black kings are together, as well as the red jacks, etc…  

The four Kings are taken out of the deck and handed out for examination, then placed aside. Three cards are freely selected, signed, and placed on top of the four Kings. A magic move toward the small packet... and the seven cards are only four: these are the four gluttonous cards that have made a feast of the three chosen cards! In the end, the four cards are now only three: the chosen cards; the four Kings are face up in the middle of the deck! Success guaranteed!  

The magician places in a row on the table the Ace of Spades, followed by the 2, 3 and 4 of the same suit. Three red cards are shown, and placed on top of the Ace of Spades; the latter mysteriously rises to the top of the packet, as if it used a magic elevator! The effect is repeated with the 2, then the 3 of Spades. But the 4 doesn't want to go up? In fact, it is his companions who have joined him: instead of the 4 of Spades and three red cards, the packet is now made up of the four Spades!  

The four Kings are "gluttonous cards" that will "absorb" three freely chosen and signed cards. These will then be regurgitated, and the four Kings will be reunited. This version is different from the one already described on this platform ("The Gluttonous Cards 1997").

A card is chosen, and lost in the deck. Any two cards are placed face down on the table; the deck is set aside. The two cards turn magically into two red kings, and a card appears audibly face down in between the two face up kings; this sandwiched card is shown: it is of course the chosen card!

The magician displays about 15 indifferent cards and asks a spectator to think of one of the "possible cards" in the packet. When the spectator names the card he has thought of, we see that it is impossible... because when the cards are displayed again, they are all the same, and different from the spectator's card, which he could not have chosen! He then takes a deck out of its case, and mysteriously produces the card that had been freely thought of!
