The spectator shuffles the deck, picks a card, loses it by himself into the deck, and immediately shuffles the deck again. He performs all these actions while the magician's back is turned. Despite these extreme laboratory conditions, the magician not only finds the chosen card, but also shows that he had predicted it in advance. Easy to do.  

Dai Vernon, “The Professor”, said “We stop thinking too soon!”. This trick is a living illustration of that. The beginning is like the original "Impossible Choice" effect: The spectator shuffles the deck, takes a card, loses it himself in the deck, and immediately shuffles the deck. He performs all of these actions while the magician has his back turned. Despite these extreme laboratory conditions, in this version, not only does the magician guess the chosen card, but in addition, he makes it disappear from the deck, and finds it in a wallet that has been placed on the table for all to see from the beginning! Easy to do.  

The magician displays the two red Kings from the deck and explains that they are "Ghost Cards". He will prove it in various ways during the routine since one of the Kings will "disintegrate", the chosen cards will transform, materialize, dematerialize... A maelstrom of effects that will make your spectators dizzy, all this with a regular deck that can be borrowed!  

The "exact" protocol of the "Collector" principle as taught to Dominique by Derek Dingle is scrupulously respected here, namely: - The four Aces are placed face up aside at the beginning of the trick. - Three cards are chosen, and are lost in the deck. - The four Aces are put on top off the deck. - And without shuffling or any other manipulation, the Aces "collect" the chosen cards, i.e. they are found face down in between the four face up aces! This version conceived by Dominique Duvivier is a real miracle!  

An estimation technique that can be very useful in certain circumstances. This technique is not 100% reliable, but it can be a powerful weapon to baffle your most devious audience.  

A succession of flash effects with only 2 cards! Back and face color changes, transformations, duplication... a quick but intense routine with a minimum of props.  

This routine is another approach to the basic "The deck that remembers" routine: Your audience will experience a collective hypnosis exercise... that will go further and further! Three spectators will experience an extraordinary event... but what could be more normal, since they are under the hypnotic influence of the magician!  

Dominique Duvivier describes his personal way of performing "Open Travellers", Larry Jennings' classic card magic trick. The magician shows how a card can be hidden in his hand, but in an invisible way: he ostensibly puts a card in the palm of his hand, and yet it is shown empty on both sides, fingers outspread... and when he puts the "invisible card" down on the table, it can be seen again.  

Card Technique: First published in the book "Duvivier Magic", published by Kaufman & Greenberg in 1996. The special thing about this double lift is that you spin the double card in the air, as if it were doing multiple somersaults, thus removing any suspicion of cheating. This is an extremely effective way to do it!  

Three chosen cards travel successively, magically and invisibly between the two red kings, which are however well separated from the deck from the beginning. A last card chosen by a fourth spectator disappears from the deck, and ends up in the magician's pocket. The deck is handed out for examination. Success guaranteed!  

This trick is a variation of "Chicago Opener" by Frank Garcia. Dominique Duvivier described it in his first book in 1974, and elsewhere on this platform. In this version, the first card is freely thought by the spectator. Success guaranteed!  

Dominique Duvivier tells you a story without words: the four aces are lost in the deck and reappear almost instantly. A kind of symphony, both musical and magical. A nice moment of poetry!  

The plot of "Coins through the Table" is one of the great families of effects in coin magic. Dominique Duvivier offers you his personal version to perform this wonderful routine.  

"Nervous Breakdown" effect with a regular card holder, and everything is handed out for examination at the end! A card is chosen under extreme laboratory conditions. The magician proves in many ways that he had predicted this card in advance. A real miracle!

Dominique Duvivier has adapted this technique to perform a double lift. This way of doing things is extremely deceptive!

In this version, the puzzle is placed in a template which proves that the dimensions have remained the same. And everything is handed out for examination at the end!
