An easy, but devilishly effective demonstration of Poker cheating! A Poker hand is set aside BEFORE starting, this is the magician's hand. THEN the four aces are spread among the other cards, and then four other poker hands are dealt. The magician shows that he has the winning hand, because it is made up of... the four Aces, which in principle is impossible!  

Imagine that you have to perform in the following situation: you are in a train, so you are standing, the spectators are sitting, they are right in front of you, you have to fight against the sway of the train... this trick has been designed for these particular conditions. The four Aces are shown to have the remarkable property of magically flipping face up and face down in pairs. A real delight for your spectators.  

A card is chosen, and lost in the deck. Any two cards are placed face down on the table; the deck is set aside. The two cards turn magically into two red kings, and a card appears audibly face down in between the two face up kings; this sandwiched card is shown: it is of course the chosen card!  

The magician displays the Ace of Spades, which he sets aside on the table. He also has some blank faced cards. These cards will be printed one by one and turn into normal cards. And in the end, the Ace of Spades that was set aside has now turned blank!  

The deck is shuffled copiously by the spectator, and then he chooses a card under crazy conditions. However, this card is the mate of the one chosen by the magician (under the same laboratory conditions). And to top it off, it was even predicted in advance by the magician! A real punchy trick !  

This trick was first published in the book "Cartomagie Année 2001" by Dominique Duvivier in 1974. A card is freely thought in a group of cards. The deck is shuffled. The magician asks for the name of the card, and spells it out, putting one card per letter... the chosen card happens to be the one with the last letter! A real miracle!  

Card technique: This technique allows you to cut the deck elegantly; the deck remains in your hands, there is no need to put it down on the table.

When the spectator names the card he has thought of, that it is impossible... because when the cards are displayed again, they are all the same, and different from the spectator's card, which he could not choose! Like a human quick change artist, a playing card (for example, the 10 of Hearts) changes its identity several times, and in the end multiplies and we now find ourselves with the four 10! This trick was created in 1998.  

One more version of the famous "Cannibals" trick revisited by Dominique Duvivier. Four kings of Spades are transformed into four cannibals more real than life with their multicolored and striking tribal paintings. They will end up devouring each other... and only bones will remain! A coin signed by a spectator dematerializes and reappears in a small closed metal box. The effect is reproduced several times in a row! Success guaranteed!  

A "Triumph" on vitamins! A spectator chooses a card, the deck is shuffled with half the cards face up, and half face down. The magician first guesses the name of the card. Then, in a second step, he declares that he is going to put the deck back in its original order; indeed, when he spreads it out, all the cards are now face down... except for one mistake: the card chosen by the spectator is the only face up card! The climax is quite spectacular: when the deck is ribbon spread face up, it is really back in its original order... since the cards are now ordered from Ace to King and by suit! And the icing on the cake, the chosen card is in the right place!  

Inspired by a technique used by Edward Marlo, Dominique Duvivier offers you a spectacular Ace journey. The effect is repeated, but this time with the Ace chosen by the spectator! Success guaranteed!  

The magician shows a packet of about 15 cards that he has taken from his deck; the cards are naturally all different. When he ribbon spreads the packet face down, there is one card that has a red back, while the others are blue: it is the 8 of Clubs. The packet is shown face up: there are now only 8s of Clubs! The "exact" protocol of the "Collector" principle as taught to Dominique by Derek Dingle is scrupulously respected here, namely: - The four Aces are placed face up aside at the beginning of the trick. - Three cards are chosen, and are lost in the deck. - The four Aces are put on top off the deck. - And without shuffling or any other manipulation, the Aces "collect" the chosen cards, i.e. they are found face down in between the four face up aces! This version conceived by Dominique Duvivier is a real miracle!
