Here is a very strange production of a coin with 2 playing cards. During the performance, you will expose your empty palms... fingers spread. The cards are regular. So is the coin. Can be done surrounded. Very easy to learn. Ideal for very close work.

An "exponential" coin routine, with one, then two, then four... and finally 16 (yes, you read that right, 16) coins, which will in turn appear, disappear, merge into each other, teleport, travel across the table... A routine full of effects for maximum impact !

Dominique Duvivier describes his personal way of performing "Open Travellers", Larry Jennings' classic card magic trick. The magician shows how a card can be hidden in his hand, but in an invisible way: he ostensibly puts a card in the palm of his hand, and yet it is shown empty on both sides, fingers outspread... and when he puts the "invisible card" down on the table, it can be seen again.

Card Technique: First published in the book "Duvivier Magic", published by Kaufman & Greenberg in 1996. The special thing about this double lift is that you spin the double card in the air, as if it were doing multiple somersaults, thus removing any suspicion of cheating. This is an extremely effective way to do it!

A variation for experts on the Matrix effect, one of the favorite themes of coin magicians. Four coins placed under four cards disappear one by one... and instantly reappear in a row on the mat. The final effect is stunning!

This trick is a variation of "Chicago Opener" by Frank Garcia. Dominique Duvivier described it in his first book in 1974, and elsewhere on this platform. In this version, the first card is freely thought by the spectator. Success guaranteed!

Four coins magically travel one by one through the table, despite the fact that they are isolated inside a glass. This is one of the most beautiful routines of "Coins Through the Table", and it is very easy to do. As you perform it, you will have a lot of fun and success.

Dominique Duvivier tells you a story without words: the four aces are lost in the deck and reappear almost instantly. A kind of symphony, both musical and magical. A nice moment of poetry!

The principle: a picture of a magician is shown, and the people present have a freewheeling discussion about what it evokes in them. Today, three protagonists: Gaetan Bloom, Alexandra and Dominique Duvivier, who share their memories, anecdotes and real-life stories about these great figures of magic. The pictures of the day: Philippe Fialho, André Mayette, Derek Dingle and Dominique Webb. Not to be missed under any circumstances!

One of the magicians' favorite themes. You put four coins under four cards in the four corners of your magic mat. In a totally incomprehensible way, the coins gather one by one in one of the corners. It's great!

Card Technique: This John Cornelius' flourish allows you to turn a card face up nicely by flipping it in the air. It has been adapted by Dominique Duvivier to perform an extremely deceptive double lift (see the "Double Cornelius Duvivier" video).

Card Technique: First published in the book "Duvivier Magic", published by Kaufman & Greenberg in 1996. Originally a flourish by John Cornelius (which is described in detail in the video "Cornelius Turnover"), it allows you to turn a card face up nicely by throwing it in the air. Dominique Duvivier has adapted this technique to perform a double lift. This way of doing things is extremely deceptive!

Gaetan Bloom: " This is also one of my favorite babies, my version of the card caught in the knot of a rope... I started with a complicated mechanism, to eliminate everything and come up with a rather Machiavellian simplicity... and watch out, no forced card, signed, no magnets, and the rope can be given out as a souvenir at the end... a true delight!"

"Gypsy Thread" is a great classic in close-up magic. A length of sewing thread is broken into many small pieces. The whole thing is rolled together, forming a small ball of thread. The ball is now unrolled and you are left with only one length of thread, the broken thread is completely restored. And the icing on the cake: you can hand out the thread as a souvenir, which will allow the spectator to examine it more closely!
