About fifteen identical cards are shown: they are all 8 of Clubs. The cards are transformed one by one, and we find ourselves with all different cards! Inspired by a technique used by Edward Marlo, Dominique Duvivier offers you a spectacular Ace journey. The effect is repeated, but this time with the Ace chosen by the spectator! Success guaranteed!  

The magician shows a packet of about 15 cards that he has taken from his deck; the cards are naturally all different. When he ribbon spreads the packet face down, there is one card that has a red back, while the others are blue: it is the 8 of Clubs. The packet is shown face up: there are now only 8s of Clubs! The "exact" protocol of the "Collector" principle as taught to Dominique by Derek Dingle is scrupulously respected here, namely: - The four Aces are placed face up aside at the beginning of the trick. - Three cards are chosen, and are lost in the deck. - The four Aces are put on top off the deck. - And without shuffling or any other manipulation, the Aces "collect" the chosen cards, i.e. they are found face down in between the four face up aces! This version conceived by Dominique Duvivier is a real miracle!

You show the 10 of Diamonds, and place it face down on the table. Then you take the other three 10s, and put the deck aside. But these three cards are particularly weird because if you turn the 10 of Spades face down and spread this small packet again, there is only one card left face up; and what's more, a fourth card has just materialized in your hands! The 10 of Diamonds on the table turns first into the 10 of Spades, then instantly into the Ace of Spades! And the icing on the cake is that you no longer have the 10s, but a Royal Flush in Spades! A classic effect revisited. Here the deck is shuffled by the spectators. The magician shows the shuffled cards again and squares them clearly. And yet the magic happens: the black cards and the red cards are separated!

Another miracle from our friend Howard Hamburg. The spectator chooses a card under absolute "laboratory conditions". However, all you have to do is spell out the spectator's name by counting one card per letter... and the last card turns out to be the spectator's! Success guaranteed!

The chosen card, lost in the deck, ends up in the magician's pocket which was empty. Then the whole deck is teleported into his pocket. Each time, it is the spectator who goes into the pocket, to see that it is empty at the beginning, then goes to look for his own card in the middle of the trick, and the rest of the deck at the end! Ideal in all conditions: close-up, cocktail, parlour and stage!  

PATEO Force (Pick Any Two, Eliminate One) is a method of forcing a particular object from a set of objects created by Roy Baker. It involves the spectator and magician in a rotating selecting and elimination process, leaving only one object from an unlimited number of objects.
