Leonardo da Vinci was a painter, inventor, engineer, scientist, humanist, philosopher... he was a universal mind. He was also a visionary. He was an inventor too far ahead of his time for his projects to be realized; he nevertheless recorded them on parchments. Among his more confidential inventions are... playing cards! You are clearly showing front and back cards representing reproductions of secret parchments drawn by Leonardo da Vinci. All these parchments instantly turn into real playing cards, front and back! But this invention remained a secret... that's why these playing cards instantly turn back into parchments!

This trick is a variation of "The Mystery Card" already described on this platform. Cards are successively selected from a red-backed deck. The magician shows that in his deck, there is a special card, the "Mystery Card", which has the particularity of being the only blue-backed card. The chosen cards and the "Mystery Card" will transform, transpose and mimic each other in a diabolical ballet! The four aces lay face up on the table. The deck is shuffled by a spectator, a card is freely chosen, and lost in the deck. The four Aces are shown again; one of the Aces mysteriously turns face down: it is the Ace of the same suit as the chosen card. And when this Ace is turned face up... it is now the chosen card! A card is freely chosen (for example the King of Clubs). The magician randomly takes out about ten cards, shows them - any cards -, and sets them aside face down on the table. The chosen card is placed with the cards that have been set aside, but returns to the deck. The same effect is repeated several times... and the magician shows that now all the cards he has in his hands are Kings of Clubs! In the end, all the cards he has in his hands become different again, and when he shows the random cards he had set aside, they are transformed into the whole sequence from Ace to King of Spades! The 2022 version of the "The Shpoo Prophecy" that Dominique Duvivier created in the 1990s. The spectator chooses a card that no one, not even him, looks at; this card is set aside. The spectator now cuts the deck where he wants, and three piles of cards are made up from the cut half. The top card of each pile is shown, these cards are for example three Kings. These cards clearly indicate that the starting card is the fourth King, which is indeed the case.
