Here's a technique for instantly transforming one card into another. This technique can also be used to transform several cards into others. For example, in his trick "Incognito", Michel Huot transforms four blank cards into 4 cards previously freely thought of by several spectators! The aces change position! - They turn into kings! - The aces reappear, then the packets of kings and aces are transposed. - After some card travels, the four queens appear, then the four jacks. - Finally, the deck splits into two separate packets: the red cards are on one side, and the black cards on the other! Four kings of Spades are transformed into four cannibals more real than life with their multicolored and striking tribal paintings. The magician shows a packet of about 15 cards that he has taken from his deck; the cards are naturally all different. When he ribbon spreads the packet face down, there is one card that has a red back, while the others are blue: it is the 8 of Clubs. The packet is shown face up: there are now only 8s of Clubs! "Augmented reality"... for real! "Virtual" phenomena cross the screen to become real! The deck transforms completely several times, so much so that we no longer know what is real and what is not! But if you look through the wrong end of the spyglass... you are confronted with the "Diminished Reality"... and the deck becomes blank pieces of cardboard again, as it was when it was first made! This video is the live version of "Elastic Sandwich" already published on Double Fond TV. The deck is shuffled by a spectator. The two red kings are handed out for examination, joined by a rubber band, and set aside. One card is freely chosen, and placed in the center of the deck. The other Aces, placed one by one into a small packet of four cards, disappear one by one to join the Leader Ace.
