One of my most famous tricks, invented almost by chance during a memorable magical night spent at Juan Tamariz's house... I was looking for a mirror for a mentalism trick. I asked Juan, who said, "Look in that drawer! "and there I found something that immediately put me on the track... In the early hours of the morning, I had found almost every possible move... You have a very visual effect and a whole pile of possibilities!  

If you liked "Repeated divination" you will also like this trick. You can name the card on the bottom of the deck that faces the spectator, while you can't see anything! It's very baffling and easy to do.  

A very nice effect where a card is transformed at sight in your fingers ... Flash and striking!  

A mysterious and very flash effect: you have only one card, but it changes three times! To be seen again and again, to amuse your fingers... and your spectators!  

As a tribute to this famous Brother John Hamman effect, I created an impromptu version (without gaffed cards) of two cards that turn into four different cards.  

Inspired by Dominique Duvivier's version, here is another method to present the Brother John Hamman effect, but without gaffed cards.  

Two cards are chosen and placed aside. The rest of the deck is clearly shuffled face up, face down. The first card chosen is shown, it is for example the 10 of Diamonds. The deck is ribbon-spread: only the diamonds are face up, the other cards are face down; and moreover, they are ranked from Ace to King! When the 10 is inserted in its place in the ribbon, the whole suit is now together! And the craziest thing is that when the second chosen card is shown, which is for example the 7 of Spades, without having touched the deck, when the magician ribbon-spreads it again, the Spades have taken the place of the Diamonds!  

A deck of cards doesn't seem to have been printed properly: no faces, only blue and red backs shuffled... And yet the magic happens!  

Non-transparent cards, it seems obvious, right? But have you ever seen cards, transparent or not, change color in full view? Dominique baffles us again by changing a small packet of four cards in full view: Ace, 2, 3, 4 of Spades to Ace, 2, 3, 4 of Hearts!!! In a seeming impromptu way moreover, because the cards are taken from a regular deck of cards! Ace, 2, 3 and 4 of Spades are taken out of the deck. The ace is put face down on the other face up cards. Everything turns face down in an instant. Then the 2 magically turns over, then the 3 and finally the 4... How to make your wishes come true... but be careful, you should never say them out loud! A very funny presentation by Alexandra Duvivier. With this trick, which is one of the great classics of magic for beginners, you can make any flat object appear or disappear, or transform it to your liking. Easy, but devilishly effective!  

Card Technique: How to switch four cards lying face up on the table by turning them face down.  

The magician tries to find the four Aces "blindly"; but he fails; but his mistake is not a mistake because these cards were planned; but these "wrong cards" finally change into Aces! And the chosen card that he couldn't find appears... in several duplicates! A series of misunderstandings... which are no longer misunderstandings, thanks to magic!  

A card is freely chosen, then lost in the deck. The magician then produces the four Aces. Then, after a little "magic interlude" where the four Aces mysteriously switch place, a fifth card appears between them: it is of course the spectator's one!  

A trick with four aces turning over one by one, to finally magically turn into Ace, 2, 3 and 4 of Clubs. Simply magnificent!  

The four Kings are taken out of the deck and handed out for examination, then placed aside. Three cards are freely selected, signed, and placed on top of the four Kings. A magic move toward the small packet... and the seven cards are only four: these are the four gluttonous cards that have made a feast of the three chosen cards! In the end, the four cards are now only three: the chosen cards; the four Kings are face up in the middle of the deck! Success guaranteed!  

A card is freely chosen by a spectator; it splits into two, then into three, and finally we obtain a four of a kind in Aces... which instantly melts together into a single card, the one chosen by the spectator at the beginning! The four Aces are now face up in the middle of the face down deck! A wonderful and unexpected effect! This trick is a variation of "Toulagli", already described previously on this streaming platform.
