The magician displays the Ace of Spades, which he sets aside on the table. He also has some blank faced cards. These cards will be printed one by one and turn into normal cards. And in the end, the Ace of Spades that was set aside has now turned blank!

I have been looking for a long time for a method to achieve this atypical effect. A card is freely chosen, put back into the deck. The deck is put on the strings of the racket. The whole thing is covered with a transparent cover. We "sift"...and the cards seem to all, progressively go through the string mesh... all except one, and it is the right one! A trick highly regarded by "The Jerx", the king of underground magic.  

An easy, but effective trick. How to balance a deck on a single card placed vertically in the middle of the mat? An impossible balance!  

Card Technique: You ask the spectator to choose a card, but you force him, without him realizing it, to choose the one you want. This method is simple, but extremely effective; it requires no sleight of hand.  

This wonderful routine will prove that like Lucky Luke, the magician can be faster than his own shadow! Several cards are successively teleported at the speed of light from the deck into his card holder. And the ultimate journey: the card that was freely chosen and signed ends up in the card holder at the end of the trick. Success guaranteed!  

The magician shows four 10s of Clubs on one side, and four Queens of Clubs on the other. He exchanges a single card from each packet, and the others mysteriously follow. He performs the effect a second time, and as a climax, he shows that he now has a four of a kind in 10s on one side (Spades, Hearts, Clubs and Diamonds), and a four of a kind in Queens on the other side! Everything is handed out for examination.  

The deck is shuffled and examined by the spectator. He secretly determines a number of cards, as well as one card from among the 52. The magician holds in his hands a small packet made up only of picture cards: kings, queens and jacks. He displays them very clearly two by two, the pairs of cards are put together completely randomly, and are placed one on top of the other on the table; no suspicious gestures are made. The spectator squares the packet, and spreads it face up on the table. The mates are now together: the black kings are together, as well as the red jacks, etc…  

This trick is a variation of "Chicago Opener" by Frank Garcia. Dominique Duvivier described it in his first book in 1974, and elsewhere on this platform. In this version, the first card is freely thought by the spectator. Success guaranteed!  

Card technique: It is absolutely necessary to master this move which will have a great effect on your audience. Your skill will amaze them.  

Dominique Duvivier invites you to a journey back in time. He explains that he has developed a prototype with small objects (i.e. his deck of cards), and that it is up to others to develop the concept to human size! A card is chosen, and lost in "extreme" laboratory conditions. Despite this, it will "go back in time" twice... This quasi-mystical experience will end with an astounding climax.  

The "ultimate" method for this great classic which will allow you to gently con the spectator, because he will think that you made a mistake. He would even be ready to bet money, but of course, you will show that "you had everything planned, even the trap"!  

You take out a black 7 and a black 9 and clearly lose them in the middle of the deck. Then with a simple magic gesture you find them in a flash.
