The magician shows two cards: one red backed Ace of Spades, and one blue backed Queen of Hearts. The cards will magically travel and transform, the backs will change color. The "elders" thought that magic could only be divided into 3 families of effects: appearance, disappearance, transformation. In the last century, Winston Freer revolutionized magic by identifying 17 families. Dominique Duvivier developed the concept and today, his work is based on 30 families! This trick is a magnificent "mix of genres". He presents two decks linked by a golden thread, and from there, he develops a whole routine where he invites a maximum of effects, each one as incredible as the other! The chosen card, lost in the deck, ends up in the magician's pocket which was empty. Then the whole deck is teleported into his pocket. Each time, it is the spectator who goes into the pocket, to see that it is empty at the beginning, then goes to look for his own card in the middle of the trick, and the rest of the deck at the end! Ideal in all conditions: close-up, cocktail, parlour and stage!  

The four aces are clearly scattered in different parts of the deck of cards. The magician makes it clear that they are neither on top nor on the bottom of the deck. Yet, in the blink of an eye, the Aces gather on top of the deck. The trick is repeated, but this time the Aces gather on the bottom of the deck. The Faro shuffle (or perfect shuffle) will serve you for shuffle "like the pros" and also for multiple applications using this specific type of shuffle. The principle? You shuffle cards one on one throughout the entire deck of cards. This technique is a must for your magician's panoply!  

The "Bloom Touch" version of this classic close-up trick. A card is chosen, torn up by a spectator, who keeps a piece of it. The other pieces are placed in the magician's pocket. A coin is borrowed, signed by another spectator, and placed in the magician's pocket. The magician then takes out of his pocket two wooden plates linked by rubber bands. The spectator removes the rubber bands and between the two plates, the spectator's card is found, which has been restored; but a piece is missing... which corresponds exactly to the one the spectator had kept. The climax is crazy: the spectator feels that there is something inside the card: he tears it up, and in its "entrails" there is... the signed coin! A real miracle. A new "killer" version on the theme of "Nervous Breakdown". The magician ribbon spreads a red-backed deck face down on the table. A spectator FREELY chooses one of the cards, which is set aside. The magician shows a blue deck and sets it aside : this is the prediction deck. He now displays a red deck, shows that the cards are all different, and a spectator FREELY choose one card. He then takes the blue deck out of its case, and ribbon spreads it on the table: there is a red-backed card among the blue-backed cards... and that card is the same as the chosen card !
