Sefalaljia is the close-up version of the "Spirit Cabinet" routine designed by Stewart James. Gaetan Bloom has revisited the principle by including his famous "Bloom Touch": the "cabinet" is a simple cardboard box that he hands out for examination. Different "spirit" phenomena happen to various objects while they are isolated inside the box: - A borrowed ring is threaded onto a cord. - A small rugby ball, placed inside the box, mysteriously comes to life. A great classic... revisited by Gaetan Bloom.

This very old effect has been revisited by Gaetan Bloom. The basic "recipe" of Al Baker's trick has been enhanced with a little extra "Bloom Touch" that gives it such a special taste! A pie tin is blackened with soot. A mysterious inscription appears in this soot... it's the name of the card that has been chosen beforehand by a spectator!

Isaac Newton has to be careful! Here, it is a pear which is used, for an effect of making a solid go through another solid... in impossible conditions! A nice tribute to the great magician Stewart James, with Gaetan’s “Bloom Touch”!

This trick is a close-up classic. A handkerchief is threaded onto a length of sewing thread. This thread is stretched in front of the magician, one end is held by his foot, and the other by his hand. The silk, placed on top, slides along the thread, but inexplicably obeys the magician's orders: it falls or stops at will! Gaetan Bloom started from the classical process, and applied his "Bloom Touch", which allows you to hand the props out for examination!

From a deck, the magician takes out the four aces. A succession of breathtaking effects then occurs: - The aces are separated by color: two red, two black. The aces change position! - They turn into kings! - The aces reappear, then the packets of kings and aces are transposed. - After some card travels, the four queens appear, then the four jacks. - Finally, the deck splits into two separate packets: the red cards are on one side, and the black cards on the other! A crazy routine! A guaranteed success! To buy a “Regular Bicycle Rider Deck” click here.

An exceptional card transposition! Two cards are chosen, and lost in the deck. The magician asks the first spectator what the value of his card is (e.g. a 9). He takes out the corresponding four of a kind. 1st effect: the chosen card (e.g. the 9 of Diamonds) is magically turned face down among the three other 9s, which remain face up. 2nd effect: The magician announces that the second card in the deck will turn over. When he ribbon spreads the deck, astonishment, it is not the second card chosen that is face up, but... the 9 of Diamonds! 3rd effect: the card face down in the four of a kind is shown: it is the other chosen card! Guaranteed impact.
