PATEO Force (Pick Any Two, Eliminate One) is a method of forcing a particular object from a set of objects created by Roy Baker. It involves the spectator and magician in a rotating selecting and elimination process, leaving only one object from an unlimited number of objects.  

Not for sensitive souls! This routine is considered one of the best ever created. Some playing cards (the "missionaries") disappear one by one when placed between other cards (the "Cannibals"), they are seemingly eaten and digested by the latter. This trick is a real killer... to say the least!  

Card technique: This false shuffle allows the deck to appear to be perfectly shuffled, while the cards remain in the same order at the beginning and at the end. This false shuffle is extremely convincing. Dominique Duvivier gives an application of this false shuffle: it is a "Triumph" where the cards are shuffled face up, face down, and at the end, all the cards magically come back face down except for the previously chosen card which is the only face up card.  

"Gypsy Thread" is a great classic in close-up magic. A length of sewing thread is broken into many small pieces. The whole thing is rolled together, forming a small ball of thread. The ball is now unrolled and you are left with only one length of thread, the broken thread is completely restored. And the icing on the cake: you can hand out the thread as a souvenir, which will allow the spectator to examine it more closely!  

One of the favorite themes of magicians. You put four coins under four cards arranged in the four corners of your magician's mat. In a totally incomprehensible way, the coins are grouped one by one in one of the corners. It's wonderful!  

A very original and magical way to give your business card! The magician displays his business cards. A spectator signs one. Incredibly, next to his signature, a message appears when it was not there before! Easy to do.

Two spectators each choose a card from a packet of cards cut in half. The choices are clear-cut; the spectators do everything. However, when these two halves of the cards are turned over, they match each other and fit together perfectly to form a single card! No manipulation required. The ideal trick to use your old cards!
