From a shuffled deck, a spectator selects three cards. Then, out of thin air, the magician produces the four Aces. These four Aces are all transformed into the first card selected. For example, if the first card is the Jack of Hearts, there are no more Aces, only Jacks of Hearts. The trick is repeated with the second chosen card, then the third one. The overhand shuffle is one of the easiest and most common ways to shuffle a deck of cards. It’s an excellent shuffle for magicians, because laymen are already familiar with it and it allows you to do some excellent controls and false shuffles while shuffling the deck this way.
