The dream of every magician: to transform matter into gold! The famous “Vanishing Coin in Paper” trick revisited in the time of the alchemists.

"Nervous Breakdown" is one of Dominique Duvivier's bestsellers: The spectator has a free choice from among the four kings, and it is shown that this king was predicted in advance. The pitch of the trick is the same, but here the choice is not just from among four cards, but from the whole deck. Yes, the spectator chooses a card freely from among the 52 cards in the deck, and this card was clearly predicted in advance! Success guaranteed!

This trick is a close-up classic. A handkerchief is threaded onto a length of sewing thread. This thread is stretched in front of the magician, one end is held by his foot, and the other by his hand. The silk, placed on top, slides along the thread, but inexplicably obeys the magician's orders: it falls or stops at will! Gaetan Bloom started from the classical process, and applied his "Bloom Touch", which allows you to hand the props out for examination!

Renelys was Dominique Duvivier's first mentor when he was very young. He used to do a two card transposition and to do so, he used a stripper deck. Dominique explains two ways to do this effect, but with regular cards. To buy a “Regular Bicycle Rider Deck” click here.

Isaac Newton has to be careful! Here, it is a pear which is used, for an effect of making a solid go through another solid... in impossible conditions! A nice tribute to the great magician Stewart James, with Gaetan’s “Bloom Touch”!

The deck is shuffled beforehand by a spectator. A card is placed face down on the table: this is the prediction card. Three piles of cards are freely determined by the spectator. The top card of the first packet is turned over: it is, for example, a 4; the prediction card is shown: it is also a 4! And that's precisely how many spectators there are in your audience! The first cards of the two other piles are turned over: these are the two missing 4s! You have understood that if you had a different number of spectators, for example eight, you would get a four of a kind with 8s. Success guaranteed! The deck is shuffled by a spectator. Two poker hands are determined under "laboratory conditions". However, whichever hand the spectator chooses, he will lose, because the magician will have a Royal Flush in Spades! To buy a “Regular Bicycle Rider Deck” click here.

A second new way to make canes appear on stage (the first one is already published on this platform). This video contains professional principles: to hide the canes on oneself, to load it invisibly, to blend technique and gestures. These principles are also applicable to objects other than canes! The magician takes out the four Kings from the deck, which he hands out for examination; he explains that these four cards are magic! Effectively, they turn successively into identical kings: Diamonds, then Hearts and Clubs... and surprise, he now has the four Aces in his hands... which instantly turn back into Kings. Finally, the faces of the cards of the rest of the deck having been shown first clearly different... all become identical! We now only have 4s of Diamonds! A festival of effects that proves that this deck really does have cards with multiple faces! One card is freely chosen, and can even be signed. This card is visibly inserted into the middle of the deck... and mysteriously rises to the top! The effect is repeated several times, under more and more impossible conditions, ending with a quite visual and incomprehensible rise to the top! A great classic of card magic. Guaranteed effect! The "elders" thought that magic could only be divided into 3 families of effects: appearance, disappearance, transformation. In the last century, Winston Freer revolutionized magic by identifying 17 families. Dominique Duvivier developed the concept and today, his work is based on 30 families! This trick is a magnificent "mix of genres". He presents two decks linked by a golden thread, and from there, he develops a whole routine where he invites a maximum of effects, each one as incredible as the other! A fabulous saga that will leave your audience speechless!

This very old effect has been revisited by Gaetan Bloom. The basic "recipe" of Al Baker's trick has been enhanced with a little extra "Bloom Touch" that gives it such a special taste! A pie tin is blackened with soot. A mysterious inscription appears in this soot... it's the name of the card that has been chosen beforehand by a spectator!

Dominique Duvivier offers a variation on the classic "2 Red Kings" by Larry Jennings. Two red kings sandwich a freely chosen card. The card dematerializes in the magician’s fingers then reappears face up in the face down deck. To buy an ordinary deck of cards click here.

The magician displays a blank deck on both sides. Four cards are freely designated, and each time, a card is taken out of the deck. The four blank cards instantly transform into the four chosen cards! - a blank backed deck click here.

Here's a technique for instantly transforming one card into another. This technique can also be used to transform several cards into others. For example, in his trick "Incognito", Michel Huot transforms four blank cards into 4 cards previously freely thought of by several spectators! You really get the impression that the 4 cards are printed in the blink of an eye, the effect is striking. To buy an ordinary deck of cards click here.

A blank card lays on the table at the beginning of the trick. The deck is displayed, and shuffled by taking half the cards face up, the other half face down. The spectator freely chooses one of the face-down cards. A magic pass, and the deck is spread out on the table: all the cards are now face up, except for one which is face down: it's the chosen card! The blank card is turned face up: it's the same card as the chosen one! New magic pass: all the backs of the cards of the deck are now blank! Success guaranteed!
